I stayed at Hilton Chicago for a couple of nights, and while the location was fantastic, the noise was quite a challenge. The hotel's architecture is beautiful and the staff was very helpful, but I found my room to be a bit dark and dated. It doesn't include breakfast, and parking was also on the expensive side. Overall, I enjoyed the convenient location but struggled with the noise levels at night.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean but felt dark and dated. I had an issue with the heating that didn’t allow for adjustments. With only a view of a roof and an alley, it wasn't what I expected from a Hilton hotel.
Service
7.0
The staff was very polite and accommodating, especially during check-in. I appreciated their willingness to help, but overall service felt a bit overwhelmed by the hotel's busyness.
Location
8.0
The location was excellent for heading to Grant Park and attractions like Millennium Park and the Field Museum, which were within walking distance, but it got crowded at times.
Dining
5.0
While there are dining options like a restaurant and a bar, breakfast isn't included. I felt some improvement could be made to the dining services to match other Hilton locations.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has a lot of features, but it really needs upkeep in some areas. There are plenty of amenities available, but some just felt outdated.

I had a great stay at the Hilton Chicago, enjoying the beautiful historic architecture and convenient location on Michigan Avenue. The room was spacious and immaculate, though the bathrooms felt a bit small. The gym was excellent, but I was surprised by the daily fee. Overall, the stay was mostly enjoyable despite a few minor drawbacks.

Rooms

The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view overlooking the park. However, I did feel the bathrooms were a bit small and lacked storage.

The staff was friendly and professional, always ready to help. I appreciated how they quickly addressed my concerns regarding the gym fee and offered assistance when I needed it.
Location
8.0
The location is perfect, within walking distance to museums, restaurants, and Lake Michigan. It made navigating the city super easy during my stay.
Dining
7.0
While the options for food were good, I found the pricing for items in the hotel shop to be quite expensive. The availability of Starbucks was a nice touch, though.
Facilities
8.0
The gym was one of the best I've seen, featuring a large pool, various cardio machines, and plenty of weight options, although the mandatory daily fee caught me off guard.

6.8/10

I had a mixed experience at Hilton Chicago. The location was fantastic, allowing me to easily access nearby attractions like Shedd Aquarium and the Art Museum. However, I faced several issues, including a dirty room upon arrival and a disappointing experience with service. While the breakfast buffet was enjoyable, it felt overpriced, especially considering the overall quality of my stay.

Rooms
5.0
My room was not cleaned properly upon arrival, with stains and an unkempt floor greeting me. The mattress was decent, but the bedding was uncomfortably rough, which dampened my overall comfort during the stay.
Service
5.0
Service was hit or miss. While some staff were friendly and accommodating, I often found the communication unclear, especially regarding room availability and additional fees, which left a negative impression.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was ideal for exploring downtown Chicago. I was within walking distance of beautiful parks and major attractions, which made my trip much easier and enjoyable.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast options were good but quite pricey for what was offered. I enjoyed the variety but felt that the quality did not justify the cost, considering there were fewer dining choices available.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were decent, but I was disappointed with the pool being closed during my stay. Additionally, the parking fees were steep, making it harder to recommend the overall value of the stay.

6.4/10

I had a generally comfortable stay at Hilton Chicago, which is located within walking distance of many attractions like the Shedd Aquarium and Millennium Park. However, the guest services could use improvement, as communication issues and lack of traditional room service made things a bit frustrating. The room was well-appointed, but I was disappointed with the dining options and the parking fees. Overall, there were both highlights and lows during my visit. 😌🏨

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were quite large for a city hotel and very clean despite the busy nature of the hotel. I appreciated the size and layout, but I faced some issues with my reserved amenities.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, but I often found it hard to reach them when needed. I had to call housekeeping multiple times during my stay, which felt inconvenient.
Location
8.0
The hotel’s location is fantastic for accessing downtown and nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the city's highlights. I enjoyed walking to various sites without needing a car.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast at the coffee shop was decent, it was on the pricier side. I was hoping for more variety and better quality, especially considering the cost.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered essential facilities but lacked room service and had high parking costs, which detracted from the overall experience. I felt that a larger hotel should provide more convenience.

My stay at Hilton Chicago was a mix of highs and lows. While I appreciated the prime location and the great service from some staff, I encountered issues during check-in and the dining pricing felt excessive. Overall, it had its charm, but there were certainly areas for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were classic and clean, though they could have included more key items like towels. My room faced the lake, which was a plus, but wasn't overly spacious.
Service
6.0
While some staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I did experience a frustrating check-in process that affected my first impressions.
Location
9.0
The location is amazing, with easy access to Grant Park and many attractions within walking distance, making it a very convenient base for exploring Chicago.
Dining
5.0
Dining options had delicious dishes, but I found the prices a bit high and was disappointed that coffee wasn’t complimentary.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like housekeeping and the dining area were well maintained, but the absence of a pool made for a slight letdown since it was a significant reason for choosing this hotel.
